I for one was bitterly disappointed we did not come away with all the points from this one. In a game where Villa dominated both possession and chances, this one was even harder to take as we thoroughly deserved the win.

Grealish and Traore were absent due to recent knocks and for us fans it was great to see that the team can perform without them. Gabby was also absent through illness but I do wonder whether he would have been picked given his low key start to the season.

I think with defensive reinforcements on their way, we will certainly tighten up and as long as we can create from midfield, the goals will come.

Scott Sinclair – was so happy we signed Scott in the summer an8 with 8 goals (3 in a friendly) already in August, perhaps he can be the fan that answers our prayers when it comes to getting goals.

Jordan Amavi – back in form from his blip against palace, was solid at left back and got forward on every occasion and set up Sinclair just before half time to give Villa the lead.
